Competition agency permits Uniline finance affiliated with Khomutynnik to gain control over six agricultural companies
The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has permitted Uniline finance Ltd. (British Virgin Islands) to acquire over 50% of shares in Astev Investment Company (Cyprus).
The committee said that an individual controls Uniline finance Ltd. The company operates in agriculture via Kaskadagro LLC (Kyiv), Agrodmytriyivske LLC (Chernihiv region), private joint-stock company Konotop bakery complex, Agro-Polis LLC (both Sumy region) and Yustina-Group LLC (Kyiv).
According to the state register of companies and businessmen, the ultimate owners of the companies is Vitaliy Khomutynnik – head of the Vidrodzhennya parliamentary group and former head of the parliamentary committee for tax and customs policy.
Astev Investment Company operates in Ukraine via Dzerzhynets LLC, Senilnikovoye-Agro LLC, Vidrodzhennia LLC, Dniproalians LLC, Dniprovsky bakery complex five (all Dnipropetrovsk region) and Fisakovsky Elevator LLC (Zaporizhia region).
