AeroSvit plans to launch Kyiv-Shanghai flight by late October 2012

Kyiv-based AeroSvit Airline plans by late October 2012 to launch a flight between Kyiv and Shanghai.
“In the winter season, AeroSvit’s eastern program of long-haul flights will include flights that have become traditional ones for the airline. In late October 2012 we plan to expand them with flights to Shanghai,” AeroSvit Director General Assistant for Public Relations Serhiy Kutsy has told Interfax-Ukraine.
Boeing 767 aircraft will be used on the route.
AeroSvit was created in 1994. It is based at Boryspil airport in Kyiv. The company serves 80 international routes to 34 countries as well as domestic routes. It has been a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 1996 and of the Association of European Airlines since 2008.
Its fleet consists of 19 medium-range Boeing 737s and eight long-haul Boeing 767s. In addition to that, it operates Airbus 320, Airbus 321, Embraer 145, and Embraer 195 aircraft jointly with partner airlines.
