Yarmolenko agent boosts Everton transfer rumour
Andriy Yarmolenko is once again at the centre of transfer rumours linking him to Everton, this time because of his agent.
Yarmolenko was at the heart of a failed attempt by the Toffees to sign him in the summer transfer window, with Dynamo Kyiv rejected the deal after suggesting they would not have enough time to find a suitable replacement for the Ukraine international.
Yarmolenko has been in splendid form this season, earning himself 9 goals in all competitions at club level whilst earning another 3 goals for his native Ukraine.
A player with Yarmolenko’s talents and keen eye for goal would be most welcome at Everton, potentially forming a devastating partnership with Belgian international Romelu Lukaku, who has 11 goals to his name already this season.
While Kyiv are reluctant to let Yarmolenko leave, at least not for less than £15 million, the player’s agent seems to be quite content with stirring the rumour pot once again.
It has been over a month since Vadim Shabily, Yarmolenko’s primary representative, posted a picture of himself at Goodison Park to twitter.
This sparked a huge debate as to why he would upload the picture, particularly when it said it had been uploaded from Ukraine, after the deal to bring Yarmolenko to Everton feel through.
But Shabily is at it again.
Yarmolenko’s agent has reportedly uploaded a new picture of himself at Goodison Park, but this time to his instagram account.
Looking at the photo carefully, it appears that it was taken on the same day as the previous one he uploaded to Twitter, but it begs the question: why did he upload it now?
Many fans see it as a sign that Shabily is actively promoting the idea of Yarmolenko joining Everton and using the picture as his way to show support for a potential deal in January.
But others see it as just stirring the pot, making people talk about his player to boost his profile across the internet and potentially to a number of clubs across Europe.
One thing is for sure, Everton will be determined to bring the talented Ukraine international to the club and will be hoping to secure a deal much earlier in January to prevent Dynamo Kyiv from pulling any tricks.
