Wizz Air lands rights to fly to Kyiv, Tel Aviv from Budapest
Hungarian low-fare airline Wizz Air has won rights from the national air travel authority to operate flights between Budapest and Kyiv and Tel Aviv, Wizz Air chief executive Jozsef Varadi said at a press conference on Monday.

The flights will launch in December and operate three times a week, he added. Wizz Air expects to carry an annual 2 million passengers on the routes.
A decision on rights for flights between Budapest and Moscow and Istanbul is expected within two month, Varadi said.
Wizz Air carried 11 million passengers last year and expects to carry 12 million this year. It flies to 80 destinations in 29 countries from 16 bases.
