Western and Kyiv resident warned against going to Donbas
Ukrainians living in the west and center of the country must not go to Donbas, Petro Poroshenko said in Lutsk Apr. 13, our correspondent reports.
Russian agents seized the police HQ in Slovyansk and a large amount of weapons. This is sufficient reason to start the anti-terrorist operation, Poroshenko said.
It was a hard decision by the National Security and Defense Council, but there is no other way ouit, he said.
80% of Ukrainians support the crackdown on extremists in Donbas, he said.
In Slovyansk, we are facing Russian regular special forces, he said.
He warned against going to Donbas by residents of western and central regions, saying it is just what Kremlin expects.
