Elsewhere, Kevin De Bruyne was in brilliant form again for Wolfsburg, scoring two goals to help them to a commanding 3-1 victory over Inter in Germany.
Another star of this year’s competition, Gonzalo Higuain, was among the goals again, netting two in Napoli’s 3-1 defeat of Dinamo Moscow, while Romelu Lukaku’s late penalty helped Everton edge to a 2-1 win over Dynamo Kyiv.
