A third successive win for Kyiv moves them three points ahead of Shakhtar Donetsk, who face Volyn on Saturday as they will look to return to the summit.

Kyiv opened the scoring in the 25th minute courtesy of striker Junior Moraes. Midfielder Denis Garmash beat two men before sending a cross into the box that his team mate headed beyond goalkeeper Sergiy Litovchenko.

Moraes then turned provider as the visitors doubled their just before the break. Some lovely flowing football was finished off in style by Garmash. The man who started the move, calmly finding the bottom right hand corner.

Kyiv were awarded a penalty in the 69th minute. Referee Kostyantin Trukhanov pointed to the spot after Temur Partsvania was penalised for a challenge on Younes Belhanda.
