US to Give Ukraine Additional $7.5 Mln in Humanitarian Aid
The money will bring the overall volume of US humanitarian assistance to Ukraine to almost $69 million, the US embassy press-service said in Kyiv.
The additional funds will be used to buy food, medicine, construction materials and household items for the families who fell victim to the armed conflict between the Kyiv forces and the pro-independence militia in eastern Ukraine, 112 Ukraina TV reported.
The US has been providing humanitarian aid for more than eighteen months, however, questions have been raised about its distribution.
