Ukrainian “Klitschko Brothers” Promote Physical Fitness
KYIV – Ukraine’s Vitali Klitschko and his younger brother Wladimir Klitschko, the respective former and current world heavyweight boxing champions, performed an aerobics routine in front of hundreds of Kyiv residents to promote the benefits of physical fitness.
Vitali, former professional boxer and current mayor of Kyiv, and Wladimir, four-time world heavyweight champion, appeared on stage for several minutes, working out to the beat of accompanying music.
Last weekend, ahead of their show at the Europe Day annual occasion, Wladimir noted that motion is life, and that those who do not advance will be left behind, addressing all of Ukraine, which he said will move forward, “toward Europe.”
At the end of show, Vitali, known as “Dr. Iron Fist,” said that when he and his brother were training together, they began by warming up to the beat of some music, similar to what they did in the public show.
