Ukrainian, Bulgarian presidents hold meeting in Kyiv

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is currently meeting with President of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev who is on an official visit to Ukraine.
Poroshenko thanked Bulgaria for supporting the European integration aspirations of Ukraine, in particular over the potential visa-free regime with the EU.In turn, Plevneliev said Ukraine and Bulgaria have warm and friendly relations.He said that both countries jointly defend the rule of law and the right of every nation to self-determination in the international arena.Both leaders will discuss the situation in Donbas and the further steps required for the implementation of the Minsk agreements. Their talks will also cover economic, military-technical and humanitarian cooperation, in particular support for the Bulgarian minority in Ukraine.
