Ukrainian activists support Bahrain protests
Bahrain has been in turmoil since protests erupted last year, calling for democracy and greater political representation. After that, the protesters claimed, the blood shed over tiny archipelago’s territory.
Holding flags from various Muslim countries protesters chanted “Hands off Bahrain!”, “Saudi is an invader!” and “America is a terrorist!”
According to the human rights organizations, many more people were killed and tortured after Saudi Arabia sent its troops to Bahrain to quell protests. These activists call this invasion a power grab and they say they refuse to tolerate such measures.
Despite the hype-upped version of the tension these protesters say Bahrain is a point of gravity due to the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet situated on its territory.
Protesters say the violence persists on an almost daily basis in Bahrain and put the blame on USA, Great Britain and Israel supporters. They also blame Europe for performing the double standard policy as they say the United Nations Security Council remains deaf to Bahrain’s call for justice.
Bahrain supporters call upon all the countries to strongly condemn the crackdown by Bahrain’s ruling al Khalifa family rulers. They urge to throw its weight behind the protesters to prevent Bahrain‘s absorbs into Saudi Arabia, which they say may pose a serious threat to the security and stability of the Persian Gulf.
