Ukraine’s Yanair Airline ceases winter flights; will relaunch March 28
Ukrainian Yanair Airline has ceased scheduled flights for the IATA winter season, due to low demand.
According to a statement, the carrier canceled its Kyiv-Tbilisi flights from Oct. 26; its Kyiv-Odessa service from Nov. 15; and its Kyiv-Batumi service from Nov. 29. It still plans to operate charter flights during the winter season.
Yanair is based at Kyiv Zhuliany International Airport. The regional carrier received its air operator’s certificate in July 2013 and has two Saab 340s and three Airbus A320s in its fleet.
