Ukraine’s Grain Exports Rose 68% This Year, Interfax Says

Ukraine’s grain exports rose almost
68 percent in the marketing year that started July 1 from a year
earlier, Interfax-Ukraine reported, citing documents from the
Agriculture Ministry.

Exports advanced to 3.76 million metric tons as of Sept. 7,
Interfax said. Wheat accounted for 1.67 million tons, barley for
870,000 tons and corn for 1.18 million tons, Kyiv-based
Interfax-Ukraine said.

Ukraine shipped 770,000 tons of grains in the first week of
September, Interfax said.
