Ukraine’s customs service to boost sniffer dogs’ teams ahead of UEFA EURO 2012
Kyiv. Ukraine’s customs service is to boost the number of sniffer dogs’ teams ahead of the UEFA EURO 2012, ProUa reports.
The number of the customs teams with sniffer dogs will be increased to 500 until the summer.
“In the beginning of 2010 the state customs service used to dispose of 70 teams with sniffer dogs, while now – there are 300. We plan an increase to 500 until the summer of 2012,” said Igor Kaletnik, chairperson of the Ukrainian customs service.
