Ukraine to Create Product Whitelist of Cargo Deliveries to Crimea

Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko addresses to the nation in Kyiv, Ukraine, Monday, Aug. 31, 2015KYIV (Sputnik) — Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk suggested on Monday to temporarily restrict cargo deliveries to Crimea and compile a list of products that could be transported to the peninsula.

“I propose to temporarily ban cargo traffic on the administrative border between Ukraine and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea; additionally, in accordance with the law, for the cabinet of ministers, headed by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, to prepare a draft government decree on specific goods and services that could be provided to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” Yatsenyuk said at an extraordinary government meeting.
