Ukraine Raises $336 Million From Asset Sales, 27% of 2012 Target
Ukraine raised 2.7 billion hryvnia
($336 million) by selling state assets in the first two months
of the year, the state property fund said.
Proceeds from the sales represent 27 percent of the
government’s 2012 target, according to a statement published on
the Kyiv, Ukraine-based fund’s website today.
Ukraine is seeking to raise 10 billion hryvnia from asset
sales this year to help close the budget deficit.
