Ukraine in its confrontation with the south-east defends Dnepropetrovsk-Kyiv line

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Anti-terrorist operation (АТО) launched by Kyivan regime against south-east of Ukraine threatens to turn into victorious march of people’s liberation revolution, as it’s considered in Russia.
Boris Kagarlitskiy, Moscow analyst and commentator, said yesterday that the West planted the seeds of colour revolution in Ukraine in 2004 and 2013-2014 and now has finally got a real revolution that has started this week in south-east of Ukraine.
“10-15 million of people that is approximately one third of Ukraine’s population have been involved in the revolution in one way or another”, – Kagarlitskiy noted. In his opinion, this fact predetermines the course of the ATO launched by Kyiv.
“Today within the frames of this operation Ukrainian army is acting on the defensive and not suppressing the people’s protests. Its task is to hold the line Dnepropetrovsk-Kyiv so that not to allow the revolution to spread from the south-east to the whole territory of Ukraine”, – Kagarlitskiy said.
At the same time, he believes that localization of revolutionary processes is actually unrealistic.
“In short time protests and revolution will spread over the whole territory of Ukraine. Discontent has been accumulated even in western Ukraine considered to be the base of today’s Kyivan regime. The revolution will inevitably break out there as well, though in different parts of Ukrainian Republic the protests will have different political coloration and different format”, – Kagarlitskiy said.
In this regard he doesn’t expect any real results from Ukraine – Russia – EU – USA negotiations planned to be held today in Geneva at the level of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
“Most likely the parties will come away none the wiser leaving the promises to meet once again”, – Kagarlitskiy said live on RBC TV channel.
