Russian-speaking organizations denied access to mass media in Ukraine
KYIV, October 22. /TASS/. The Ukrainian State Agency for Cinematography has banned seven Russian films as a “threat to Ukraine’s national security interests,” the agency’s press service said on Wednesday.
Among them are Russian TV series Paratroopers, Marines, Cadets, The Investigative Committee and others, which, according to the agency’s chief, “dignify Russia and Russia’s security structures.”
The agency earlier banned 13 other Russian movies, including The Match, a World War II drama taking place in 1942 in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv occupied by Nazi troops.
