Ukraine 2016: Ruslana & Verka Serduchka in the jury

KYIV, UKRAINE – With the national selection kicking off on February 6th, Ukrainian national broadcaster along with its partner commercial broadcaster announced Eurovision winner Ruslana and runner up Verka Seduchka as jury members for the show. They will join Konstanin Meladze in the jury.
Konstanin Meladze said that: “I think the selection of the jury members not only correct and the only right. In the 12 years of Ukraine’s participation in “Eurovision” Ruslan and Andrei most successful were: Ruslana with her song «Wild Dances» won the competition in 2004, and Danilko in the image of Verka Serduchka and the song «Dancing Lasha Tumbal” took second place in 2007 year. In addition, they are not just interesting musicians – they are high professionals representing two different genre, which is very important when evaluating the national selection of participants.”
