Traffic restored on main roads in Ukraine, says Emergencies Service
Normal traffic conditions have been restored on the roads of national importance in Ukraine as of Monday morning, according to a report posted on the Web site of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine with reference to Ukravtodor.
The two-way traffic has been restored on the Kyiv – Zhytomyr and Kyiv – Kharkiv roads. All the roads in Kyiv are functioning as usual. Traffic is still obstructed on the section of the Kyiv – Chernihiv road near the town of Brovary.
The transportation through Vyshkivsky, Yablunytsky, Latyrsky and Abransky mountain passes in Zakarpattia region and Uzhotsky and Oriavsky passes in Lviv region is normal.
As of 0700, transport communications are still to be restored to 105 towns and villages in six regions, including 17 in Vinnytsia region, twelve in Volyn region, 28 in Ternopil region, 45 in Lviv region and three in Chernivtsi region.
