Stoke City transfer gossip: Club back in for Kyiv’s Andriy Yarmolenko
STOKE’s frustration over the Oussama Assaidi deal could lead them to the door of Ukrainian international Andriy Yarmolenko.
Overnight reports claim Stoke are ready to push the boat out on the £8m-rated Dynamo Kyiv star.
But they warn that wage demands of £75,000-a-week could be a stumbling block… you don’t say.
Yarmolenko played for Kyiv against Stoke in two Europa League ties back in 2011 and also played for Ukraine against England that season.
The 24 yaer-old’s signing would be another eye opener following the recent capture of Bojan.
Or reports linking Stoke to Yarmolenko may just be another way of forcing Assaidi and his people to lower their wage demands.
