The cutting of electricity supplies to Russian garrisons with their missiles aimed at Ukraine and its neighbors is taken too closely to heart by some in Kyiv, Crimea Tatars leader Refat Chubarov commented on the rush steps to repair the electricity grids supports blown up by Crimean Tatars and Ukrainian activists in the Kherson oblast, Chubarov writes in Facebook Nov. 22.
Chubarov accused the Ukrainian government of taking the side of the Russian occupants instead of the Tatars.
Some in Kyiv seem not to care about the persecution by the Russian authorities of thousands of Crimean Tatars, Chubarov says.
The cut-off of electricity supplies from mainland Ukraine will make the occupation authorities respect the rights of Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians living on the peninsula – even at the cost of their suffering, Chubarov claims.
