Russia’s Lavrov tells EU’s Mogherini to push Kyiv towards peace talks
MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavorv told the European Union’s foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini in a phone call on Sunday that Moscow wants the bloc to push Kyiv towards political dialogue with separatists in east Ukraine.
Lavrov reiterated Moscow’s stance that Kyiv was to blame for intensified fighting in east Ukraine in recent days, the Russian Foreign Minsitry also said in a statement.
