Russian Federation plotting revenge against Ukraine after Kyiv launches new …

Russia may ban flights by Ukraine’s largest airline from its territory after Kyiv slapped airspace restrictions on several Russian carriers last Friday.

“The aggressor is Russian Federation – a neighbouring country, former strategic partner that legally pledged to respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of the borders of Ukraine”, President Poroshenko declared.

“Here we are forced to fight proper fully armed troops of the Russian federation”, he said.

The EU’s energy chief, Maros Sefcovic, who mediated the talks between the two parties, said Ukraine would pay $232 per thousand cubic meters of gas in the fourth quarter, thanks to a $19 discount on Russian export duties.

Poroshenko expressed incredulity that the aggression against Ukraine is being perpetrated by a country which is supposed to be a guarantor of global peace and security as a permanent member of the United Nations security council. With the Kremlin rejecting allegations of involvement in Ukraine’s conflict, Seleznev told French news agency AFP at the time that “it is very important to present to the world Russian soldiers who supposedly do not exist on our land”.

The two men deny charges of terrorism.

What’s happening in Eastern Ukraine now. In excess of 8,000 people have died since the beginning of the fighting in April 2014, United Nations’ estimates indicate. In order to put an end to the fighting, an agreement was reached in Minsk in September.

Speaking to 5 Kanal, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin explained the decision to boycott the Russian leader’s speech saying, “I personally have no desire to hear what Putin has to say and be in front of him during his speech, and neither does the Ukrainian delegation”. There are over 1.5 million internally displaced people.

A summit on Ukraine last took place in February in Minsk, where steps were agreed to stop the conflict, which flared up a year ago after Ukraine’s pro-Moscow president fled following street protests in Kyiv.

Savchenko said she was on a reconnaissance mission walking a few miles from where the mortar shells landed. U.S. Marine Corps leaders now want this to include naval infantry units, Capt. Richard Ulsh, a spokesman for Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa told the Marine Corps Times.
