Poroshenko submits to parliament package of ‘urgent visa-free’ bills

Ukrainian President has introduced to the Verkhovna Rada a package of three ‘urgent’ bills 

According to the report, the recommendations of the International Monetary Fund” was introduced, improving the selection procedure of top officers of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and increasing guarantee of its independence and impartiality.

Draft Law of Ukraine on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine based on  the recommendations of the sixth report of the European Commission on the implementation by Ukraine of the Visa Liberalization Action Plan. This  plan will bring them in line with the best European standards.

The adoption of these laws by the Verkhovna Rada as early as next plenary week will create the necessary conditions for the early introduction by the European Commission to the EU Council and the European Parliament of a legislative proposal to abolish the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens, the report underlines.
