Ukraine’s Energy Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn said in a statement that four power lines had been damaged and that two districts of Ukraine’s Kherson region were also left without power.
The fix work on the Kakhovka Titan power line in Ukraine has been completed, but the supply of electricity to the Crimea has not been restored, Russia’s Deputy Energy Minister Andrey Cherezov said on Friday.
“This is a brotherly act and we really appreciate the support they are giving us,” Crimean deputy prime minister Mikhail Sheremet told RIA Novosti news agency. (More …)
Last week Crimea was completely de-energized due to the undermining of power transmission line supports, which supply electricity from Ukraine.
