Nine Soldiers Killed in Ukraine

According to Ukraine’s Defense ministry said on Thursday that atleast nine soldiers have been killed by an attack on the military convoy and a checkpoint.

The ministry informed that there were attacks by rocket launchers and grenade along with mortars which hits the armored vehicle in Donetsk near Volnovaha which created fire.

The Ukraine’s Defense Ministry also informed that the terrorists made a human shield covering by the civilians and open fired while blocking a bridge while another attack which hit a convoy of vehicles in Rubizhne in the Luhansk region.

However there was no confirmation was made till the report was filed where no response from the separatists forces in Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk immediately called an emergency meeting with the U.N Security Council after the violence when the interim government is preparing to hold the presidential elections on Sunday in Kyiv.

Arseniy said, “We will provide evidence that it is Russia trying to escalate the conflict, attempts to seize Ukrainian state border checkpoints and scuttle the presidential election.”

However the tensions are still high in Donetsk and Luhansk where the pro-Russian separatists took control over the key buildings after they demanded the independence.

13 out of 34 local election commissions in Luhansk and Donetsk have been blocked or under the control of militarise according to the Ukraine’s Central Election Commission while the other three are working with the fear of getting seized.
