Jan. 13 (Bloomberg) — NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy expects the price for imported natural gas from Russia to rise to $418 per 1,000 cubic meters in the second quarter of this year, said Deputy Chief Executive Officer Vadym Chuprun.

The price will probably hold at that level in the third quarter before declining to $413 in the last three months of the year, Chuprun told reporters today in Kyiv.

Naftogaz, Ukraine’s state-controlled energy company, is paying OAO Gazprom, Russia’s export monopoly, $416 in the first three months of the year.
