MTS Ukraine, Kyivstar get GSM licence extensions
Ukrainian national telecommunications regulator NKRZI has prolonged three GSM licences held by the mobile operator MTS Ukraine. This includes the licence for GSM-900 services in the Poltava, Cherkasi, Chernivtsi and Vinnitsya regions, the licence for GSM-1800 services in the Donetsk region and the licence for GSM-1800 services in the city of Kyiv.
NKRZI also prolonged four licences for the mobile operator Kyivstar. The list includes the GSM-900 licence in the Poltava, Zhitomir, Volin, Kherson and Lugansk regions, the GSM-900 licence in the Kyiv, Cherkasi, Vinnitsya and Zaporizhzhya regions, the GSM-1800 licence in the Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Lviv regions, as well as the GSM-1800 licence in the city of Kyiv.
