Moscow Not to Blacklist Ukrainian Artists as Kyiv Has Russians

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk talks with reporters during an interview with the Associated Press in Kyiv, Ukraine, Friday, March 27, 2015MOSCOW (Sputnik) On Thursday, the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture published a blacklist of 83 cultural figures, whom Kyiv believes “create a threat to national security.” While most in the list are Russian performers, the list also includes the US new metal band Limp Bizkit’s lead Fred Durst and US boxer Roy Jones, Jr.

“No, everything’s fine with our heads. We take care of producing movies and not banning foreign ones, which I would suggest our Ukrainian friends to do as well. This is all pointless,” Medinsky said in response to whether Russia would also compile a list of “undesirable Ukrainian artists.”
