The militants violated ceasefire in all directions in the ATO area over past 24 hours, using mortars and grenade launchers among other weapons.
Spokesman for the Presidential Administration on the anti-terrorist operation, Colonel Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In particular, according to the spokesman, the enemy violated ceasefire in Donetsk direction, namely outside Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk) and Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk). Moreover, the militants opened unaimed fire on the positions of the Ukrainian army outside Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk).
The tense situation observed near the Donetsk Airport, particularly near Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk), where the militants opened fire from small arms and grenade launchers.
The spokesman for ATO also reported that the militants had used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk).
