Militants open fire on Ukrainian military positions 35 times last night – Kyiv

Militants in Donbas opened fire on Ukrainian military positions 35 times last night, the headquarters for the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine has reported.
The press service reported on Facebook that the Ukrainian military have registered 35 “military provocations” by militants, including with the use of tanks.
Ukrainian military clashed with a small group of militants not far from Troitske in Luhansk region. The clash continued for an hour and militants eventually had to retreat.
According to the headquarters, militants have used 120 mm mortars in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska for a second time in the past 24 hours.
The headquarters also registered the use by militants of 82 mm mortars near Zaitseve, on the outskirts of Horlivka, and against Ukrainian military positions in Krasnohorivka not far from Donetsk.
Militants also opened fire on Ukrainian military positions near Krasnohorivka using tank weapons.
Militants used firearms, grenade launchers and large-caliber machine-guns to open fire on Ukrainian military positions in Pisky, Opytne and Avdiyivka.
