Mercyhurst Prep boys beat Central Tech, Feb. 18
Mercyhurst Prep 53, Central Tech 46: At Central Tech, Alex Borges and Casey Shelton each scored eight points in the second quarter to help the Lakers (20-2) open up a 34-27 halftime lead and they held on to down the Falcons (11-11) in a non-region game.
Borges finished with a game-high 22 points for Mercyhurst Prep and Shelton totaled 15.
Eugene Husband led Central Tech with15 points and Kyiv Williams and Marquel Hilliard each added 12.
