Marriott to début in Ukraine
Marriott has acquired the Leipzig Hotel and is planning to undertake an extensive renovation scheme, which will bring the hotel in-line with the anthem of the Marriott brand.
The hotel is situated on the corner of Volodymyrska and Prorizna Streets, and enjoys proximity to the government buildings, Saint Sophia Square and the city’s Opera House. The hotel is a historic building, which has its own distinctive stunning, elaborate architecture and design.
The renovation scheme will add a new extension to the existing hotel, improve the facade of the building and re-design the interiors. Further, the renovation scheme will add the feel of the Renaissance Hotels brand and restore the historic property to its former charm.
The hotels portfolio will consist of 173-guestrooms, which will feature well-appointed interiors. The other amenities for the guests include a specialty and casual restaurant, lobby bar, a well-equipped business centre and fitness center with spa.
In addition, the hotel will also introduce R Navigator lifestyle hospitality concierge service and RLife LIVE entertainment program; which are the signature features of the Renaissance brand. The new Renaissance Kyiv Hotel is scheduled to open in mid-2013.
