Manchester City fans face a race against time to sort out their trips to Dynamo Kyiv this month after being handed an allocation of 2,200 – at just £4.50 each.
The Champions League last-16 tie was set to be played behind doors in the Ukrainian capital with the hosts serving a three-match ban for racist chanting.
UEFA only lifted that punishment on Tuesday – three weeks ahead of the first leg in Kyiv on February 25 and well over a month since the knockout draw.

A stadium ban, which has since been reduced, looked set to stop City sending any supporters to Ukraine
They were drawn against Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League and can now send 2,200 supporters
That left City frustrated at a lack of time for organising travel arrangements, and they are now working around the clock with supporters to facilitate the trip – even if match tickets are cheap.
It is understood City feel they have been unfairly penalised for punishment supposed to impact the home team.
Football’s European anti-discrimination body Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) passed footage to UEFA of an apparent attack on four black fans during Dynamo’s Champions League clash with Chelsea on October 20 which ended 0-0.

Charges were brought against Dynamo for racist behaviour, crowd disturbances and blocked stairways. However, the three-match stadium ban has now been reduced to just one.
Earlier this year, Dynamo were fined £11,000 by European football’s governing body following the racist behaviour of their fans during a Europa League match against Everton at the same venue.
The Ukrainian side were also punished for setting off fireworks and for insufficient organisation during the 5-2 second-leg win over the Toffees in March.
UEFA ordered partial closure of their home ground for the first leg of the quarter-final against Fiorentina the following month.

Chelsea fans were also ambushed by balaclava-clad thugs in Kyiv just hours before the Blues faced Dynamo earlier this season.
A group of around 30 supporters were attacked in the Ukrainian capital just moments after they had left the Shato Brewery bar just off Independence Square.
Several fans were left bruised and bloodied with at least one requiring hospital treatment following the unprovoked attack.
