Man United: United agree £16million defender deal
Manchester United are close to completing a £16million deal for Dynamo Kyiv defender Aleksandar Dragovic and could land him this week.
Despite United’s priority seemingly being the improvement of their frontline, Sport Mediaset are reporting that boss Louis van Gaal is set to make Austria international Dragovic his first signing of the transfer window.
The Red Devils have kept one clean sheet in their last six matches, conceding three at Newcastle on Tuesday, and van Gaal has taken the decision to bring in the 24-year-old, who has previously been linked with a move to Leicester.
Dragovic could reportedly complete his switch to Old Trafford before the weekend after United agreed to match Dynamo Kyiv’s £16million asking price.
