Maidan protesters give Pshonka ultimatum to drop criminal charges against …

The Maidan board agreed to withdraw from the Kyiv state administration building and open traffic along Hrushevskoho St. in exchange of the release of the detained activists.

This decision was met with disapproval by a part of Maidan protesters who came to the Kyiv administration building after the rally ended.

Meanwhile, protesters began their withdrawal, but stopped it, saying Prosecutor General Pshonka is to drop criminal charges against the detainees.

Svoboda’s Andry Illenko came to the scene. He said the building will be seized again unless criminal charges have been dropped till the end of the day, Ukrayinska Pravda reports Feb. 16.
