Last consultations on EU-Ukraine FTA with Russia to be held today
On Monday, Brussels will host the last round of trilateral political consultations on the introduction of the deep and comprehensive free trade area between the European Union and Ukraine starting from January 1, 2016.
The Ukrainian side will be represented by Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, Ukrinform reports.
The official Kyiv emphasizes that the “concern” of the Russian Federation on the FTA between Ukraine and the EU is of purely political nature, having no economic justification and being aimed at blocking free trade and economic integration between the parties.
As European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker stated last week, these consultations will be “the last chance” to settle the mentioned problems.
