Kyiv Zoo To Work Without Days Off During Euro-2012

The Kyiv Zoo utility enterprise has decided to work without days off during the European Football Championship-2012, the press-service of Kyiv Zoo said in the press-release.

On June 9 – 11 Kyiv Zoo will hold a range of events.

In particular, on June 9 the visitors may see exhibits of molluscs, insects, spiders, centipedes, etc. within the framework of the World of Invertebrates event.

The visitors may hold some animals on to hands and take pictures.

On June 10 the Zoo will host the Who is Living in Aquarium program.

On June 11 the visitors will witness the Football with Pigeons-toed event from 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

In favour of the match between the national football teams of Ukraine and Sweden zoo keepers will present Potap and Nastia bears toy balls with Ukrainian and Swedish symbols, and the zoo visitors will be watching them playing.

The admission ticket for adults costs UAH 25, for children under 16 – UAH 15, and children under 5 have free admission.

As Ukrainian News reported, the European Football Championship-2012 will take place in four cities of Ukraine and four cities of Poland on June 8 – July 1.
