Kyiv to Sue Russia in International Court for Supporting Terrorism

KYIV – Ukraine plans to sue Russia in the International Court of Justice for its support for the pro-Russian rebels in the east of the country.

Ukrainian Justice Minister Pavel Petrenko announced last night on Ukrainian Channel 5 television that this year will see the start of a large trial in the international court, where Ukraine will sue Russia for violating the agreement on supporting terrorism.

He added that Kyiv has already gathered all the evidence to prove the guilt of Moscow and is now completing the preliminary process.

The minister recalled that over 700 Ukrainian citizens have already been to the European Court to sue Russia for the annexation of Crimea, and its intervention in the conflict in the eastern regions of Donetsk and Lugansk.
