Kyiv To Obtain State-Guaranteed Loan Of UAH 16 Billion For Construction Of …
The Kyiv municipal administration intends to obtain a loan of UAH 16 billion under state guarantee for financing construction of a subway station in the Troeschyna residential district.
The Kyiv municipal administration’s deputy head Ruslan Kramarenko announced this to journalists.
“We are presently working on obtaining government guarantees for UAH 16 billion for construction of a subway in Troeschyna and the Podilskyi Bridge. A preliminary agreement exists. We will go through an interdepartmental committee, and we will get the money after approval. A period of one week has been set, and we will submit the documents on Monday (July 1),” said Kramarenko.
He added that the financial institution that will provide the loan has not yet been approved.
According to Kramarenko, the city is talking to Ukrainian banks, as well as to Russian and other foreign banks.
In addition, the Kyiv municipal administration has submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers documents for participation in the government program for economic stabilization.
Among the projects to be implemented under this program is completion of the construction of the Teremky subway station, reconstruction of Poshtova Square, and construction of the Troeschyna subway station.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Kyiv municipal administration asked the Cabinet of Ministers in May of to allocate UAH 434 million for construction of a subway station in Troeschyna.
