Kyivskyi Metropoliten, the municipal enterprise that operates the Kyiv subway system, has extended the operation of the Kyiv subway by one hour during the night of April 19-20 in connection with Easter celebrations.
Kyivskyi Metropoliten announced this in a statement.
In addition, subway stations will open one hour earlier on April 20.
According to Kyivskyi Metropoliten, the subway’s operating schedule was changed to ensure quality transportation of passengers during the holiday.
As Ukrainian News reported, Kyivskyi Metropoliten closed the Olimpiiska subway station from 19:00 to 20:00 on April 16 because of a football match between Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar Donetsk.
