Kyiv Residents Demand Ukrainian Cabinet Resignation
Several hundred people on Friday morning blocked traffic on a central street in Kyiv while protesting near the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, demanding the resignation of the country’s Cabinet of Ministers.
On Friday, the Ukrainian Cabinet is expected to report to the Rada on the work it has carried out over the past year and Ukrainian Prime Minster Arseniy Yatsenyuk plans to address Parliament.
The one-year period, during which the prime minister and members of the government cannot be dismissed, expires on December 12.
On Friday morning, people came to the building of the Verkhovna Rada without party flags, but with slogans demanding the government to step down.
