Up to 500 people have joined an ongoing rally in favour of lustration outside of the Verkhovna Rada building in the centre of the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.

They are also demanding the cancellation of the auto-recycling fee and broader access to public information, an Interfax correspondent has said. The demonstrators are chanting “Lustration!” and “Law 3842!” (which proposes amending the country’s Tax Code to cancel the auto-recycling fee). They are also demanding the adoption of legislative amendments guaranteeing broader access to public information. Some of them are holding banners. Several parliamentarians, among them independent MP Yuriy Derevianko and UDAR party members Oksana Prodan and Serhiy Kaplin, are attending the rally.
