Kyiv police have opened a criminal case on the disappearance of Oleh Semansky, the head of Naftogazvydobuvannia oil and gas production company.
Kyiv police have opened a criminal case on the disappearance of Oleh Semansky, the head of Naftogazvydobuvannia oil and gas production company, according to the media liaison office of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry’s main department.
The case was opened under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code (willful homicide), the source said on Monday.
At the same time, the classification of the criminal case could change depending on the results of the investigation in the missing person’s whereabouts.
The police said that a report was filed on Feb. 4, 2012, by Semansky’s wife, who said her husband went to work on Feb. 3, 2011, and did not return home, while his mobile phone was not answering.
“The main investigation department of the Kyiv police is currently engaged in the investigation of the missing person’s whereabouts,” the source said.
