Kyiv Fully Resumes Traffic In Khreschatyk Street
Kyiv City State Administration has fully resumed traffic in Khreschatyk Street after dismantling the Euro-2012 fan zone, the press-service of Kyiv City State Administration said in the press-release.
“We have fully resumed traffic in Khreschatyk Street today, July 6. The cars have been running on the central traffic artery of our capital already,” the press-release noted.
Khreschatyk Street was closed for traffic from Shevchenko Boulevard to Instytutska Street because of the official Euro-2012 fan-zone operation there.
They began dismantling the fan-zone soon after the European Football Championship-2012 closed. The dismantling will be completed in a couple of days.
As Ukrainian News reported, Kyiv City State Administration partially resumed traffic in Khreschatyk Street on July 3 after dismantling some fan zones of the European Football Championship-2012.
The Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station was opened for passengers’ entry and exists on July 2.
