Klitschko discusses cooperation in tourism in Israel
Kyiv Mayor, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Vitali Klitschko during his visit to the international tourism exhibition in Tel Aviv has discussed the experience of active promotion of tourism amidst terrorist threats with Israeli Minister of Tourism Yariv Levin.
The press service of Kyiv City State Administration said the parties at the meeting discussed more active cooperation in tourism, what is of interest to both parties, the promotion of Kyiv and Ukraine, how Ukraine can use the experience of Israel, which successfully promotes its tourism potential amidst terrorist threats.
“I think it is very important to study Israel’s experience in promoting tourism potential amidst threats, as well as organizing tourist information centers, establishing tourist police, regulating the tourism sector at the state and local levels, its financial support,” the press service said citing Klitschko.
In addition, the Ukrainian side is interested in studying the Israeli experience in organizing the national tourist office, tour transport logistics and making parking lots and stops for it.
