The Neopolitan’s future in Turin now has serious question marks over it given that the Bianconeri have strengthened in his position with the signings of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.

Mediaset report that despite the fact that Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kyiv were interested in signing him, the player himself would much rather a move to Fiorentina who have also been linked with the 30-year-old.

The Bianconeri did receive an offer for the player for Kyiv but he rejected the opportunity to discuss a deal with them.

Although the former Azzurri international does want to play Champions League football, he would be open to a move to the Viola especially if they look to do a deal that would see Stevan Jovetic move the other way.

His contract in Turin expires in summer 2015.
