IEM Kyiv: Group B results
Yesterday saw 
SK Gaming and 
Team SoloMid qualify for the knockout stages.
The second group has now finished and we know that they will be joined by 
Moscow Five and Dignitas .
The Russian team of M5 played exceptionally all day. They began by dispatching of Dignitas in comprehensive fashion with them living up to the hype that had been built up around them prior to the tournament.
against All authority also started brightly with them earning themselves a victory against fellow countrymen Team Sypher .
With these first matches, a win for aAa in their next match vs Dignitas would have seen them through to the next stage. Dignitas however had other ideas as they turned their fortunes around and beat aAa to open the group back up.
M5 continued their winning ways with a win against Sypher.
Going into the last games we had the potential for a 3 way split. A win for aAa against M5 would have given them real hope of qualifying as it would have gone on to the speed of their matches.
Dignitas did they part by earning their second win against Sypher to ensure the French side went home 0-3.
M5 however would not entertain aAa’s hopes of progressing as they completed their cleansweep of the group.
Tomorrow we will see the dominant Russians face off against SK Gaming , can SK stop the big red machine?
The other semi-final will be an all American affair between TSM and Dignitas.
