Hungary’s ambassador presents credentials to Ukrainian president
Erno Keskeny, Hungary’s new ambassador to Ukraine, presented his credentials to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Monday.
After the ceremony, Poroshenko thanked Hungary for its support to his country, and voiced hope that Hungary would resume its gas supplies to Ukraine in January.
The Ukrainian president and the Hungarian ambassador also touched upon plans for Peter Szijjarto, the Hungarian foreign minister, to visit Kyiv on December 19.
The ceremony, at which six new ambassadors to Ukraine presented their credentials, was attended by Ukrainian foreign minister Pavlo Klimkin.
